RESIDENTIAL EXPANSION TANKS. The XT-XTV Series diaphragm expansion tanks are available in sizes from 2 to 80 gallons in either in-line or stand models (see chart). Designed and manufactured by Elbi since 1975, the XT-XTV Series expansion tanks are solid and have proven reliable in millions of installations worldwide. Therm-X-Trol expansion tanks are designed to control pressure in commercial closed, potable hot water systems. Available in diaphragm, partial acceptance bladder and full acceptance bladder designs, these tanks range in size from 2 gallons (7.6 liters) to 528 gallons (2,000 liters).

For use in closed, hydronic heating systems to control pressure build-up. Accepts expanded water as system temperature rises and returns it to the system as the temperature drops.

Product Series DescriptionOur DTS and DTL Series Thermal Expansion Tanks are designed according to the ASME CODE Section VIII – Div. 1 using the latest technology in terms of manufacturing processes and quality control. Available in standard 150 psi maximum working pressure. Intended for use in commercial and industrial domestic potable hot water applications, these tanks accept the expanded volume of hot water keeping the system pressure below the relief valve setting, thus preventing dangerous pressure build-up. All models are fitted with a replaceable bladder.
