Hi all,We're facing a serious issue at the moment. Every Terminal Server ( Remote Desktop Services Windows Server Standard 2008 r2 x64 ) is showing performance issues for logged in TS Users and MS Office.Users report system freezes for 20-30 seconds at a time, multiple times per day. The Terminal Servers are running in VM's ( VMWare ESXi 5.0 U1 )From the Windows/Application logs, we have the following entry showing up multiple times per minute (! The license server is discovered by using a mailslot broadcast. Because many networks do not allow broadcasts, we recommend that you add the following registry key information about the Windows 2000-based terminal server so that the discovery process for the license server will work:HKEYLOCALMACHINESYSTEM CurrentCon trolSetSe rvicesTer mServiceP arametersName: DefaultLicenseServerData type: REGSZData value: is a placeholder for the NetBIOS name or for the IP address of the license server that you want to use.
By Swedish dance DJ Basshunter which samples in a remixed version the French song 'Daddy DJ' by Daddy DJ.' It's a remixed version. I guess it's the first time you've been right the whole time and you know that. You can't help but love deleting your comment every single time your wrong.' - That's about his other song 'All I ever wanted'So there, they are the same track. - That's about the song 'Vi sitter I Ventrillo och spelar DotA'The melody for 'All I Ever Wanted' is largely a remixed version of 'Daddy DJ', as is Basshunter's earlier song 'Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA'.'
(Do not use servername.)Determine whether licensing has been installed in the domain role or in the enterprise role. In this environment, licensing must be in the domain role:HKLMSystemCurrentControl SetServic esTermSer vLicensing Parameter sRoleREGDWORD 0x000000000 = Domain Role1 = Enterprise Role. Hi 123problems,No, sadly this did not fix our problem, which in the meantime we have fixed ourselves. Somehow, the license key ( MAK ) disappeared. We found out by using the following CMDc:cscript '%ProgramFiles%Microsoft OfficeOffice14ospp.vbs' /dstatusallThis showed our MAK key as UNLICENSED, where a KMS key showed asOOBGRACE. ( which is a trial period ) We don't use KMS keys, so this was pretty strange.By using the command:c:cscript '%ProgramFiles%Microsoft OfficeOffice14ospp.vbs' /?you can see the options for the script, one of which is to install the license key through commandline. We did this, logged in a user on the Remote Desktop Services ( TS ) server, and started MS Word.
A pop-up appeared that the License needed to be validated, clicked 'Online Validation' and it was done.Seems to have worked ( for now ).

Well, I have Emsisoft Internet Security program, mostly used in Europe, installed on my Aspire 5738 since Jan. It prevents and detect all Malware that includes AV, Adware, Spyware etc. Please don't suggest me any FREE Malware programs! Most PC users know, both Free and Paid Malware programs are supposed to be updated and scanned from time to time OR on regular basis. Feel free to correct me in case I'm WRONG on this point! My real problem is: Why an IMPORTANT service like Software Protection service should terminate unexpectedly, just a couple of minutes after starting OS (Win 7-SP1)? So please suggest possible reasons/solutions in UR answer! Thanks a Lot.
